Stephanie sat in the kitchen with Richie, crying her eyes out knowing that she just made a terrible mistake and that when her dad finds out, he's sure to blow a gasket.

Chapter 37 - In A World That Gives You Nothing

His bags hit the floor as he stands there in the doorway.  Shocked by what he just heard and even more scared to answer her, he’s frozen. 

Chapter 36 - Make Me Come Alive

 

At lunch, they sat outside in a local café and tried very hard to fit in and be normal.  The babies are in their double stroller, out of the sun and wind and hidden away from any paparazzi eye. 

Chapter 35 - Maybe, Someday

 

 

 

It was time for the twins to have their one month check up, and Beth was excited.  That means that Jon would be landing anytime and they will go into town together. 

Chapter 34 - A Fighter Is Born

She's in the nursery putting the twins to bed when she hears her cell phone alert her to a text message.  As she's swaddling Brianna, she looks over her shoulder and sees that her phone is on the dresser. 

Chapter 33 - On A Steel Horse I Will Ride

When they arrived back at the vineyard, Beth ordered them something to eat and then she tended to the babies, getting a full report from Gloria that they had done nothing except sleep.
